The ancient court wizard never held audiences from a simple chair — his throne was a monument to accumulated knowledge, every arm and leg flanked by shelves groaning with tomes, scrolls, and arcane curiosities.

This Library Throne is a glorious piece of scatter terrain that tells its own story the moment it hits the table. The sculpt features an imposing high-backed chair with deeply tufted upholstery, baroque acanthus-leaf carvings scrolling across the crest rail and armrests, and flanking pilasters that give way to built-in bookshelves — stacked with miniature tomes, loose scrolls, and bundled manuscripts spilling onto the lower shelves. It's the kind of furniture that belongs in a lich's private study, a Sage NPC's tower sanctum, or the inner chamber of a secretive arcane guild.
The set also includes a standalone matching bookcase, as seen in the product images — making it a natural pair for dressing a full library or scholar's quarters scene. Both pieces share the same ornate carved-wood aesthetic and shelf detailing, giving your encounter space a sense of cohesion and lived-in depth.

Encounter Hook:
The party finally locates the renegade Archmage Veldris in her sealed reading room — seated upon her Library Throne, three arcane texts hovering open before her, a fourth clutched in her lap. She doesn't look up. "I wondered how long it would take you," she says. "Sit. We have much to discuss before the others arrive." The throne is the centrepiece of the room; the bookshelves flanking it hold the very grimoires the party has been hunting all campaign.
Scaled to 32mm. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — paint straight away or use as-is for instant atmosphere. The pieces arrive cleaned of major supports; as with all resin prints, minor marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up before painting.
