Description

They were scholars once — now they drift between the shelves, clutching quills and feathers, their owl-masked faces tilted as though still listening for a question only the dead can answer.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Library Spirits are three distinct wraith-like entities, each wearing a hooded cloak and the haunting blank visage of an owl mask. One crouches low with clawed feet splayed against the flagstones, a quill clutched in its grasp; another hovers aloft, an ornate medallion gleaming at its throat; the third sweeps forward with a great feather fanned behind it like a wing catching invisible wind. These are not battlefield undead — they are guardians of forbidden knowledge, remnants of an arcane institution long since sealed behind iron doors. On the tabletop they work equally well as spectral enemies, eerie NPCs, or atmospheric set dressing for any encounter set in a cursed library, ruined academy, or forgotten archive.

For collectors, the three sculpts make a cohesive and visually striking display piece — the interplay of flowing cloth, avian masks, and dynamic movement gives each spirit its own personality while keeping the group unified in theme.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run campaigns set in arcane institutions, cursed libraries, or planar archives
  • Need ghost or undead encounters with genuine character and menace
  • Want display-worthy miniatures that tell a story from the shelf
  • Are building a necromancer's entourage or a haunt-filled dungeon
  • Enjoy painting dramatic flowing cloth and atmospheric creature designs

Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the stolen tome to the sealed upper gallery of the Ivoryspire Athenaeum — but the moment the lantern light falls across the shelves, three pale figures rise from the reading desks. They do not attack. They simply watch, heads tilting in eerie synchrony, until one raises a quill and begins to write in mid-air. The words appear in smoke: You should not have opened that book.

This set includes all three Library Spirit sculpts. Miniatures are printed at 35mm scale — if you require 32mm scaling, please send us a message and we will happily adjust. A decorative base option is available; if selected, please include a note specifying which of the three base styles you would prefer. Bases arrive separate and can be attached with a small amount of glue. All miniatures arrive with supports removed and fully cured, ready for priming and painting — or use straight from the box for your next session.
