The Leviathan from Primal Collectibles' Tales of Kreyvos range is a serpentine sea colossus rendered with the kind of sculptural conviction that makes a Dungeon Master grin. Its long, scaled neck rears upward with that unmistakeable tension of a predator mid-lunge — rows of teeth bared, frilled head fanned wide, radiating menace. The body coils and surges from a dramatic wave-and-foam base, the churning water frozen at the moment of breach, giving the whole piece a kinetic energy that reads across the table instantly.

Scale detail runs the full length of the serpent's body — overlapping plates along the back giving way to smoother ventral scales beneath, with fin-like protrusions along the neck that catch paint and dry-brushing beautifully. The scenic base is a showcase piece in itself: sculpted cresting waves with deep undercuts that reward washes and contrast paints, framed by a riveted circular surround that keeps the composition grounded without looking plain.

This is a multipart miniature that arrives with both a decorative scenic base and a plain base option, giving you flexibility whether you're mounting it for a dramatic gaming encounter or building it into a diorama display. Supported and unsupported files are available — here you receive the physical printed result.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a centrepiece sea creature for coastal, nautical, or aquatic campaign arcs
  • Want a large, imposing monster that reads clearly at arm's length across a gaming table
  • Are painting hobbyists looking for a sculpt with rich surface texture and deep relief
  • Run maritime or island-hopping campaigns where something ancient lurks beneath

Encounter Hook

The party's merchant vessel has anchored in the sheltered cove of Kreyvos Point for the night. At the third watch, the water beneath the hull goes unnervingly still — then the Leviathan rises, its dragonlike head towering over the mast, drawn by the ship's lantern light. Parley, flee, or fight: every option carries a consequence.
