Description

They say you hear the Lionhorde before you see it — a rolling thunder of hooves and war-horns — and that Leoren himself is always at the front, mane streaming, armour gleaming, already reading the field before the first arrow flies.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

Leoren is no brute chieftain. This bust captures something rarer: a warlord of genuine intellect. His leonine features are composed, calculating — the expression of a commander who has already won three battles in his mind before the enemy has formed ranks. The flowing mane frames a face weathered by campaign and hardened by command, while the heavily ornate armour beneath speaks to generations of Lionhorde heritage worked into every pauldron and plate. In his arms he holds what appears to be a tome or map — a detail that reframes him entirely. This is not a beast. This is a strategist.

The sculpt is presented as a display bust on a textured stone plinth, framed by a dramatic shattered-shard backdrop that gives the composition real visual weight on any shelf. Every strand of the mane, every rivet and relief on the armour, is rendered with the kind of surface depth that rewards a patient painter. This is a showcase piece built for those who want their brushwork to do the talking.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Paint miniature busts as display or competition pieces
  • Want a commanding NPC — a patron, a rival warlord, or an unexpected ally — to anchor a campaign
  • Are building a fantasy bust collection with genuine variety of character
  • Need visual inspiration for a leonin general, Tabaxi elder, or beast-folk faction leader in their world

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to negotiate safe passage through Lionhorde territory. They expect an audience with a snarling beast-king. Instead, they are shown into a war tent lined with maps and correspondence, where Leoren sits reading a dossier — on them. He already knows why they're here. The question is whether they know why he agreed to meet.
