Leonin Sorcerer King (Hunmaruk) by Primal Collectibles
Description
Where the scorched wasteland meets the edge of empire, Hunmaruk stands unchallenged — arms crossed, mane crowned with curling horns, and the quiet certainty of a king who has never needed to draw a weapon to command fear.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Hunmaruk is a leonin warlord of unmistakable presence — part chieftain, part sorcerer, entirely sovereign. His broad frame is draped in layered scale-and-hide armour, a woven ceremonial kilt hanging heavy at his waist, and a serpentine reptilian arm clasped at his side like a trophy or a familiar — it is difficult to tell which. Horned protrusions rise from his leonine skull like a crown grown from bone, and his mane, thick and wild, speaks to a creature that rules not by appointment but by right of strength and will. One great clawed foot pins the rubble beneath him as though the world itself is something to be stood upon.
This sculpt from Primal Collectibles' Wasteland series captures Hunmaruk in three-quarter stance, a pose that reads equally as warlord holding court and sovereign preparing to pass judgement. The detail across his braided armour skirt, the scaled texture of the reptilian limb, and the cracked stone scatter base all translate with exceptional clarity at 32mm scale. He is as compelling on a display shelf as he is placed at the centre of a boss encounter.
A worthwhile addition for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding leonin or lion-folk warlord for D&D 5e or Pathfinder encounters
- Are building a desert wasteland or sun-scorched plains campaign setting
- Want a distinctive boss monster or rival faction leader with genuine visual authority
- Are collectors drawn to large-scale character sculpts with deep surface detail
- Play or DM campaigns featuring tabaxi, leonin, or beast-kin cultures
Encounter Hook:
The party crests the dune ridge to find their path blocked — Hunmaruk stands atop a shattered sandstone plinth, arms folded, seven of his warriors fanned out behind him in silence. He does not draw a weapon. He does not need to. He simply asks, in a voice like grinding stone, whether the adventurers have come to negotiate or to become an example.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative scatter-rubble base is included as a separate piece and can be attached with standard hobby glue — Hunmaruk's pose is sculpted to interact with the base, so we recommend using it. Arrives ready for priming and painting, or display straight from the box. Minor support marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up with a hobby knife.
