The Defender of Tlacoatl is a towering leonin warrior clad in layered featherwork armour, a carved stone medallion hanging at his chest and ritual bracers encasing his forearms. In one great clawed hand he holds an obsidian-edged blade, its grip worn smooth from a lifetime of use. Perched upon his shoulder sits a small figure — a young priestess, face marked with sacred tattoos, watching the world from the height only he can offer her. His lion's face is calm, composed, and utterly without fear. This is not a fighter who rages blindly; this is one who has chosen a burden and carries it with absolute resolve.
Details
Sculpted at 35mm scale, this miniature brings real narrative weight to your table. The detail across the feather-edged armour skirt, the geometric patterning on his belt medallion, and the texture of his mane and clawed feet reward careful painting and make for a genuinely striking display piece even left unprimed. Whether you need a legendary guardian NPC, a bodyguard sworn to a jungle deity, or a player character built around a Tabaxi or leonin Barbarian, this sculpt carries the concept with conviction.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Are running a Mesoamerican-inspired jungle campaign or lost-temple arc
- Need a bodyguard NPC with a built-in story and a ward to protect
- Play a leonin or Tabaxi Barbarian and want a mini with real presence
- Collect display-quality miniatures with strong character narratives
- Want a dual-figure sculpt that sparks questions before a single die is rolled
Encounter Hook:
The party has finally reached the inner sanctum of the sunken temple — and blocking the sealed door is a leonin warrior, silent and unmoving, a small child perched on his shoulder. He does not attack. He simply says: "She is not to be disturbed." Whether he is a protector, a jailer, or something far more complicated is entirely up to you.
This miniature is printed at 35mm scale. If you would prefer 32mm, just send us a message and we will do our best to accommodate you. A decorative base option is available — if selected, please send us a note indicating which of the three base styles you would like. The base arrives separately and can be attached with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up. Each piece is fully cured and ready to prime and paint — or display as is.
