Description

At the very bottom of the infernal hierarchy, lemures are the raw, screaming stuff of damnation — shapeless masses of tormented flesh that claw and wail through the Nine Hells for eternity.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the second sculpt variation of the Lemure from MZ4250's Monster Manual 2025 range, and it's a wonderfully repulsive piece. The figure presents a hunched, bloated mass of rippling, striated flesh — no recognisable face, just a wide-open maw bristling with blunt teeth and flanked by vestigial, sunken eye sockets. Long, multi-fingered claws reach outward from stubby arms, and the entire body is textured with deep, swirling folds of skin that catch paint and wash beautifully. It sits low and wide on its base, giving it a menacing, barely-contained quality — as though it's surging forward mid-shriek.

Where the first Lemure variation may differ in pose or detail emphasis, this sculpt leans into the creature's most disturbing quality: the suggestion of a human face that never quite forms. It's a detail that rewards close painting — a thin wash of bruised purple or rotten flesh tones over those sunken sockets will make it genuinely unsettling on the table.

Whether you're stocking the Nine Hells with infernal cannon fodder or building a horror-themed display base, this lemure brings real character to what is often an overlooked creature in the D&D bestiary.

This miniature is well suited to adventurers who:

  • Are running Avernus or Nine Hells campaigns and need authentic infernal foot soldiers
  • Want to give their players a taste of just how grim the bottom of the devil hierarchy really is
  • Enjoy painting grotesque, texture-rich creatures where washes and dry-brushing really shine
  • Are building a complete fiend collection across all CR levels
  • Collect MZ4250's Monster Manual 2025 series and want every entry represented on the shelf

Encounter Hook: The party descends into the lower levels of an infernal fortress, only to find the cells burst open — a dozen lemures, freed by some disruption in the infernal order, are flooding the corridor ahead, mouths stretched wide and claws scraping the obsidian floor. Their master is nowhere to be seen. Someone, or something, let them loose deliberately.
