This hulking construct is a brute of cracked granite and volcanic energy, its massive body assembled from jagged boulders that grind and shift with every thunderous step. What makes this sculpt so compelling is the crimson energy threaded through it — dark, glassy tendrils of otherworldly fire erupt from its crown and curl around one raised fist, while the same sinister energy seeps across the rocky base beneath its feet. This isn't elemental fire as conjured by a mage; this is something older, rawer, and deeply wrong. Whether you interpret it as a corrupted earth elemental, a golem bound to an infernal power source, or a living siege weapon raised from cursed ground, it carries real menace on the tabletop.
The sculpt shows the golem mid-lunge, arms spread wide, with shattered stone scattered around its base and that crown of crimson flame roiling overhead. The contrast between the pale, fractured granite texture and the deep red energy makes it a rewarding piece to paint — drybrushing the stone, glazing the flame, and picking out the veins of energy running through the base would each yield a dramatically different result. Equally at home as a display centrepiece or a session-ending boss encounter.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a large, imposing elemental or construct boss for their D&D 5e or TTRPG campaign
- Want a centrepiece monster for dungeon crawls, volcanic regions, or planar encounters
- Are drawn to painting projects with strong textural contrast and dramatic colour work
- Collect display-quality creature miniatures for shelves, dioramas, or battlefields
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to investigate the collapsed mine outside Duskhollow — three days ago, the workers sealed themselves in and haven't emerged. Descending into the lower shaft, the adventurers find the bodies arranged in a circle around a crack in the earth, each one facing inward. Then the floor shifts, the crack splits wide, and from the dark beneath rises a grinding mass of stone and crimson fire, its hollow crown blazing where a face should be. Whatever the miners summoned, it didn't leave.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — note that the golem's pose interacts directly with the base detailing, so we recommend attaching them before priming. Printed to a high level of detail; any minor support marks can be cleaned up before painting.
