Description

Even the most featureless hillside tells a story when the rocks have been there long enough to bleed into the earth.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This cluster of rugged boulders from Mia Kay M3DM brings immediate visual weight to any battle map or diorama. Three interlocking rock formations of varying size create natural cover, obscure sightlines, and anchor a scene — whether that scene is a mountain pass ambush, a druidic stone circle, or the rubble-strewn floor of a collapsed dungeon passage. The sculpt captures the angular fracture lines and uneven faces of real stone, giving it a grounded, geological quality that reads clearly on the table even before a drop of paint touches it.

As scatter terrain goes, this is one of the most versatile pieces you can have in your collection. It works equally well in wilderness encounters, cave systems, desert ruins, or roadside skirmishes — and it looks just as good in a display case as it does on the hex grid.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Build immersive battle maps and want terrain with genuine sculptural detail
  • Run outdoor, wilderness, or dungeon encounters and need flexible scatter pieces
  • Enjoy painting and weathering terrain to match their campaign's colour palette
  • Collect and display tabletop scenery alongside their miniature collection

Encounter Hook:
The party rounds a bend on the mountain trail and finds the road blocked — three boulders, freshly tumbled, and no sign of what moved them. The ranger notices drag marks in the mud behind the largest rock. Something waited here. Something patient.
