Large Bush by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
Even on an open battlefield, the undergrowth keeps its secrets — and those who know how to use it survive.
- ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
This set includes two scatter terrain bushes in two different sizes, their surfaces dense with overlapping rounded scales of foliage that catch light and shadow beautifully whether painted or left in their natural state. The larger piece sits broad and low, the smaller clustered tight — together they suggest the edge of a forest path, a hedgerow bordering a village square, or the scrubby wilds of a dungeon courtyard. At 32mm scale they sit comfortably alongside your character and monster minis without overwhelming the scene.
Scatter terrain like this does the quiet work of making a battle map feel lived-in. Drop a pair of these alongside a forest trail encounter and suddenly the rogue has somewhere to vanish, the ranger has cover, and the players are making decisions about the terrain rather than just their attack rolls. Equally at home on a display shelf or diorama base alongside your painted adventuring party.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Want to add natural cover and environmental storytelling to wilderness or outdoor encounters
- Are building modular battle maps with varied scatter terrain
- Love the finishing detail that transforms a flat grid into a proper scene
- Paint and collect diorama-style display pieces alongside their minis
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking the goblin outriders through the Thornwood for half a day when the trail goes cold. Two sets of large bushes flank a narrow gap in the tree line — and the ranger's passive Perception just isn't high enough to tell whether something is hiding in them or not. The goblins, of course, know exactly which bush to trust.
Details
This listing includes two terrain pieces — one large and one small — both at 32mm scale and ready for priming and painting, or usable straight from the box for a natural unpainted look. Both pieces come as single assembled units. As with all detailed terrain, minor surface marks from the printing process are possible; these are easily tidied up before painting.
