Lady Umbravale is a demon queen of the highest order: regal, terrifying, and utterly commanding on the tabletop. Her vast bone-spurred wings spread wide in a display of dark authority, while her gown dissolves into writhing shadow tendrils at its hem. A crown of jagged spines rises from her brow, chains hang at her waist like trophies, and a strip of cloth binds her eyes — not out of weakness, but as a sign that sight is beneath her. Every detail of this sculpt speaks to a creature of ancient and terrible power, equally at home as a campaign's final villain or the centrepiece of a display shelf.
She works brilliantly as a greater demon, a Fiend patron made flesh, a duchess of the Abyss, or a unique demon queen in her own right. Dungeon Masters running dark campaigns, Ravenloft horrors, or infernal court intrigues will find her presence genuinely unsettling in the best possible way. Painters will relish the depth of the sculpt — the membranous wing texture, the layered shadow-fabric of the gown, and the intricate crown all reward careful brushwork.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding boss monster for a fiendish or infernal arc
- Are building a demon court, Abyss encounter, or dark summoning scenario
- Want a statement display piece that doubles as a functional game piece
- Are running Ravenloft, an infernal contract campaign, or a corruption-themed adventure
- Collect high-detail fantasy miniatures from independent sculptors
Encounter Hook:
The party has spent three sessions dismantling the cult — burning the shrines, scattering the acolytes, destroying every binding circle they could find. They enter the inner sanctum expecting silence. Instead, Lady Umbravale is already seated on the throne, her wings folded, her blindfolded gaze somehow fixed directly on the paladin. "I've been watching you dismantle my servants," she says softly. "I wanted to see if you were worth keeping."
Printed at 35mm scale. A decorative base is available — please specify your preferred option at checkout: Bricks (55mm), Tiles (55mm), or Pedestal (55mm). This miniature arrives support-free and fully cured, ready for priming and painting or use straight out of the box. Minor surface marks from the printing process are possible; these are easily tidied up before painting.
