Description

It does not hunger for flesh alone — the Lacedon craves the marrow of the drowned, rising from the shallows with salt-bleached bones and a shriek that silences the tide.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Lacedon Ghoul is a creature of relentless, predatory momentum — and Atlanticus Arts has captured every bit of that savage energy in this sculpt. The figure lunges forward mid-stride, one arm sweeping wide with a jagged bone-hafted weapon, the other braced low with gnarled, talon-like fingers clawing at the ground. Tattered cloth hangs from an emaciated frame of exposed musculature and protruding ribs, and the wild, matted hair streams back as though the creature is charging headlong into its prey. The skull-like face is locked in a wide-mouthed snarl, jaw open, teeth bared — the expression of something that has long since left humanity behind.

The decorative scenic base reinforces the horror: fractured ground, scattered bones and debris suggest a battlefield or crypt floor recently ravaged. This is a miniature that reads as dangerous from across the table — and rewards close attention from a painter. The exposed anatomy, layered rot, and texture contrast between ragged cloth and exposed bone make this a genuinely compelling painting project at 32mm. For those wanting to push further, the 75mm variant scales up every detail for a commanding display piece or centrepiece painting challenge.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Run undead-heavy campaigns in Ravenloft, the Shadowfell, or coastal crypts
  • Want a ghoul that reads as a genuine threat on the tabletop, not just a filler enemy
  • Enjoy painting detailed anatomy, exposed bone, and layered cloth textures
  • Are building a graveyard or waterlogged dungeon encounter group
  • Collect display-scale undead miniatures for shelf or competition painting

Encounter Hook

The fishing village of Drenhollow has gone quiet — no boats out, no lights in the windows. When the party investigates at low tide, they find the harbour empty of survivors but not of inhabitants: a pack of Lacedon Ghouls stalks the slippery dockside planks, reeking of brine and old blood, drawn by the sounds of the living. The leader — larger, faster, its weapon still slick from the night's work — turns to face the party first.
