Description

From the dripping tunnels beneath the world, the shaman raises his totem-staff and calls upon the blind god's favour — and something in the dark answers.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the Kuo-Toa Shaman — a hulking, fish-headed devotee of Blibdoolpoolp, caught mid-ritual as he thrusts a grotesque totem staff skyward. The staff is crowned with a twisted humanoid idol, and his web-fingered free hand reaches outward as though channelling divine madness directly from the ocean deep. His wide, tooth-filled maw hangs open in either prayer or threat — likely both. Draped in heavy ceremonial robes that hang in long strips from a belted loincloth, the detail on his scaled hide, webbed feet, and layered garments makes this sculpt a genuine pleasure to paint.

In D&D 5e terms, this figure works brilliantly as a Kuo-Toa Whip or Archpriest — the spiritual leader of a cult whose congregation would happily drag your party beneath the waterline. Whether you're running a deep-dungeon crawl, a coastal horror scenario, or a full Underdark campaign, this shaman brings immediate menace and character to the table. He's equally at home on a display shelf, where the dynamic pose and richly textured sculpt reward a close look from every angle.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Underdark or deep-sea horror encounters in D&D 5e
  • Need a Kuo-Toa cult leader or Archpriest for their campaign
  • Love painting fish-folk creatures with layered scales, robes, and wild detail
  • Collect display-worthy fantasy monster miniatures

Encounter Hook:
The party descends into a flooded temple complex and finds a congregation of Kuo-Toa kneeling before a cracked obsidian idol — all of them silent, all of them still. At the far end of the chamber, a shaman stands with staff raised, and as the adventurers watch, the idol begins to move.
