The Kuchisake-onna — the Slit-Mouthed Woman — is one of the most iconic figures in Japanese urban folklore, and she translates with terrifying elegance to the tabletop. This sculpt captures her in a moment of deceptive stillness: robed in a flowing kimono-style dress with wide sleeves, long pale hair framing a face locked in a jagged, unnervingly wide grin. One hand raises a slender dagger with casual, practised ease; the other reaches forward with hooked, claw-like fingers. She is barefoot, unhurried — because she already knows she will catch you.
