Kostchtchie is no mere fiend dragged from the Abyss on a summoner's whim. He is the Prince of Wrath, a demon lord who carved his domain from frozen rage — a towering brute of muscle and malice, wielding a rune-etched warhammer that has shattered siege walls and ground paladins into the permafrost. Born of mortal flesh twisted by Baba Yaga's curse and the Abyss's corruption, he occupies a singular place in D&D lore: ancient, relentless, and contemptuous of anything smaller than himself — which is, of course, everything.
This sculpt from Monster Atlas captures that raw ferocity with exceptional detail. The figure is wide-legged and coiled with intent, both hands gripping the enormous flat-headed warhammer which is hauled back over one shoulder — rune engravings visible on both striking faces. His face is a snarl of tusked fury beneath a mane of wild, matted hair, and his barrel-chested frame is clothed in little more than a rough-wrapped loincloth and cord-bound feet — there is nothing ceremonial about Kostchtchie. He does not need armour. This is the third pose in our Kostchtchie range, showing him in a full rotational wind-up, hammer drawn back and ready to deliver a devastating blow.

Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the source of the winter that has swallowed three provinces — a summoning site buried beneath a glacier, where a frost giant death cult has been feeding sacrifices to something that answered. As they descend into the ritual chamber, the ice around them begins to crack outward in radiating lines. Something enormous is already here. It did not need to be summoned. It has been waiting.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and base are separate pieces — a small amount of super glue will secure them. The base is designed to complement the sculpt and the two are worth displaying together. Arrives unpainted and ready for priming; some minor clean-up of support marks may be required as part of the hobby process.
