Description

Deep in the undercroft, the sound of strategic pillow placement and muffled hissing suggests the kobolds have declared the abandoned servant's quarters their sovereign territory — and they are not accepting terms of surrender.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Not every encounter ends in swords drawn. Sometimes the party rounds a corner to find two kobolds utterly absorbed in the construction of what is, by any objective measure, a very impressive pillow fort. One stands atop the mound with a wide-brimmed hat tilted at a commanding angle, surveying the layout with the architectural authority of a dragon cult tactician. The other clutches a sizeable cushion with devoted intensity, flower-adorned horns betraying a softer side beneath the scales. This is not a battle scene — it is a moment of kobold domestic bliss, and it is all the more memorable for it.

Sculpted with exceptional warmth and comic character, this piece works brilliantly as an NPC encounter, a slice-of-life vignette on your display shelf, or a surprisingly effective distraction for the party rogue who cannot resist investigation checks. The pillow pile base gives the whole composition real visual depth, and the two-figure arrangement rewards viewing from multiple angles.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need an NPC encounter that earns genuine laughs at the table
  • Are building a kobold warren, undercroft, or dragon cult lair
  • Want a character piece that doubles as a display centrepiece
  • Love painting expressive, personality-driven miniatures
  • Collect kobold miniatures and demand the full emotional range

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to clear out the abandoned merchant's townhouse, but upon reaching the basement they find two kobolds who have declared the linen store a sovereign state, complete with pillow ramparts and a hastily drafted treaty demanding recognition of their territorial claim and the provision of one (1) additional pillow per week.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The larger scene piece comes on a scenic pillow-pile base as a single assembled piece. A second, more compact variant is also available — shown in the product images — ideal for tighter shelf spaces or gaming tables. Both are ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight from the box as unpainted display pieces. Minor imperfections from the printing process are possible and where they occur they can be tidied up with minimal effort before painting.
