This is Variation 1 of MZ4250's kobold range — a crouching, combat-ready pose that captures the feral aggression these small draconic creatures are known for. The miniature features a heavily scaled body with a horned, reptilian head, jaws parted in a threatening snarl. It carries a short blade gripped in both hands, body low and coiled — mid-stalk, ready to lunge. Sturdy clawed feet and taloned hands reinforce the creature's predatory nature, while a simple belt and wrapped cloth trousers suggest a kobold that has scavenged and scrapped its way to adequacy.

The sculpt is rich with surface texture — overlapping scales across the arms, torso, and legs read clearly at 32mm scale and will reward a drybrush-and-wash approach beautifully. The pose works well as a rank-and-file warrior, an ambush predator frozen at the moment of detection, or even as the slightly larger, nastier kobold that leads a patrol.
