Description
Of all the knights who swore their lance to Camelot, none rode forth with more earnest conviction — or more to prove — than Sir Percival, seeker of the Grail and soul unmarked by cynicism.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This miniature from Primal Collectibles' Chronicles of Excalibur range captures Sir Percival in a composed, sentinel-like stance that speaks of quiet resolve rather than bluster. He stands in quilted armour over chainmail, a small cross at his chest, his cloak draping heavy behind him. In his right hand he bears a tall spear planted firmly at his side; in his left, an ornately carved round shield whose scrollwork spirals are sharp enough to catch every wash of paint you care to apply. His expression — steady, slightly furrowed — is that of a young man who has seen enough of the world to take it seriously, but not so much that hope has left him.
The sculpt carries genuine Arthurian character. This is not a generic knight-at-arms: the quilted gambeson texture, the cross motif, and the intricately detailed shield boss all place him squarely within the chivalric tradition. Whether you're running a Camelot-inspired campaign, populating a royal court with named NPCs, or simply want a distinguished human fighter for your party, Percival reads as immediately significant on any table. He's equally at home on a display shelf as he is anchoring an encounter on your battlemat.
A fine addition for adventurers who:
- Want a distinguished human knight as a player character or named NPC
- Are running Arthurian, high medieval, or chivalric-themed TTRPG campaigns
- Need a Fighter, Paladin, or Oath of Glory champion with genuine character
- Enjoy display-scale painting projects with rich surface detail to work into
- Are building a round table's worth of named knights across a campaign arc
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a fog-shrouded crossroads to find a solitary knight standing vigil over the body of a slain messenger — spear grounded, shield raised against no visible threat. Sir Percival does not speak first. He simply watches, waiting to see whether the adventurers approach with honour or with drawn steel. What the messenger was carrying, and who killed him, is a question that will reshape the next three sessions.
Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative scenic base is available as a separate option — and given how well the sculpt interacts with its base, we'd recommend it. Some models are supplied as separate pieces for the figure and base, joined with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is printed to order and arrives ready for priming, painting, or display straight from the box.
