Description

Of all the knights who rode in Arthur's name, none burned with a purer flame than Galahad — son of Lancelot, seeker of the Grail, and the only soul deemed worthy to achieve it.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

This miniature from Primal Collectibles' Chronicles of Excalibur range captures Sir Galahad in a moment of solemn reflection. He stands tall in full plate and chainmail, a great sword planted point-down before him, both gauntleted hands resting on its crossguard. A sweeping travel cloak falls across his armoured shoulders, and beside him rests a stone plinth bearing the Holy Grail itself — a detail that makes this sculpt immediately recognisable on the tabletop or on a display shelf. His expression is composed, resolute, and faintly contemplative — the bearing of a man who has already seen something most mortals never will.

The sculpt is available in three distinct angles, each showcasing the richly detailed chainmail sleeves, the cross motif on his surcoat, and the textured stonework of the base. Whether you're painting him in classic white and gold or choosing your own heraldic livery, this is a miniature that rewards careful brushwork at every stage.

Equally at home on the tabletop as a player character or as a named NPC of legendary virtue, Galahad serves just as well as a Paladin champion, a Oath of Devotion archetype, or a quest-giver of immovable conviction. He also makes a genuinely arresting display piece for collectors drawn to Arthurian legend.

A fine choice for adventurers who:

  • Are running Arthurian-inspired campaigns or holy order quest arcs
  • Need a Paladin or Fighter miniature with unmistakable character
  • Want a named NPC of legendary virtue to anchor a story moment
  • Are building a display collection around Arthurian myth or medieval legend
  • Are looking for a painting project with exceptional surface detail to work with

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the ruin of a chapel deep in the forest — and finds a lone knight kneeling before a cracked stone plinth, sword before him, eyes closed. He does not stir as they approach. When he finally speaks, he tells them he has been waiting three days for a sign, and that their arrival is it. He needs them to carry something he cannot — because the Grail, he says quietly, does not wish to go where he is going next.
