Sir Bedivere is one of the oldest knights in Arthurian legend: loyal beyond reason, weathered by decades of service, and burdened with the weight of an age passing. This miniature from Primal Collectibles' Chronicles of Excalibur line captures him in full plate armour layered over chainmail, a great sword resting point-down before him, and a heavy fur-lined cloak swept back over his pauldrons. His expression is set and serious — a man who has outlasted his king and carries that knowledge in every line of his face. The rocky, shattered-stone base adds real narrative weight, as though the ground itself has broken beneath the burden of what he's witnessed.
Three distinct poses are available across the Sir Bedivere range, each presenting a different stance and angle: from a commanding forward lean to a more composed, weight-resting posture. Each one suits a different kind of story. Whether you're representing an unbreakable sworn protector, a grieving veteran, or a legendary NPC at the heart of a Camelot-inspired campaign, Bedivere brings that gravitas in full.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Run Arthurian-themed or high medieval fantasy campaigns
- Need a veteran knight NPC — quest-giver, tragic ally, or reluctant antagonist
- Want a Fighter or Paladin player character mini with real presence and history
- Are building a display piece that tells a story without a single word
- Collect the full Chronicles of Excalibur range from Primal Collectibles
Encounter Hook:
The party finds an armoured figure kneeling alone beside a frozen lake at dawn, a great sword planted in the ice before him. He doesn't draw a weapon as they approach. He simply says: "I have been waiting for someone worth telling this to." What he knows about the old king — and the thing that's been living in the lake since the sword was thrown — will reshape the entire campaign.
