Knight / Paladin (Cardioth) by DM Stash
Description
The ground shook before they saw him — a paladin of terrible conviction, his riveted warhammer already swinging, great feathered wings spread wide like a herald of divine wrath.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Cardioth is a knight-paladin sculpted in full plate armour, every surface detailed with layered pauldrons, chainmail beneath the cuirass, and riveted bracers. In his right hand he swings an enormous blocky warhammer — a weapon that looks forged rather than gifted, built to break fortifications as much as skulls. From his left arm rises a massive wing-shield, feathered and angular, suggesting a celestial bloodline or an oath sworn to a deity of judgement. His knee is raised mid-stride, and he stands atop a rubble base of shattered flagstones — the aftermath of a battlefield he carved through to get here. The visor of his close-faced helmet leaves his intentions unclear, which is somehow more unsettling than a snarl.
This sculpt is from DM Stash and carries their characteristic weight and drama — the kind of character who arrives at your table and immediately shifts the power dynamic. Whether he's a player character Oath of Devotion paladin, a divine champion of a celestial order, or a relentless enemy the party has been warned about for three sessions, Cardioth commands attention on the board and off it.
A solid addition for adventurers who:
- Are playing or DMing a paladin with a celestial or angelic theme
- Need a heavy-armoured knight NPC with genuine narrative presence
- Want a boss-level warrior to anchor a climactic set-piece encounter
- Are building a display collection of high-detail fantasy miniatures
Encounter Hook:
The party has heard the name Cardioth whispered in three separate towns — always in the same breath as burned temples and silenced witnesses. When they finally come face to face with him in the ruins of the cathedral, he doesn't attack immediately. He simply asks them which god they serve, and waits.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative rubble base is included as a separate piece and attaches easily — the figure's pose is sculpted to interact with it, so it's worth using. Suitable for painting straight after priming, or use as-is for an atmospheric unpainted display piece.
