This is pose 03 of our Knight of the Inquisition range, and it is a striking one. This warrior of the Inquisition is caught mid-stride, hauling a heavy bearded greataxe back for a sweeping blow, his quilted cloak caught mid-billow behind him. His helm bears the flattened brim of an inquisitor's authority, and every surface of his armour is etched with runic script — the kind of lettering that speaks of binding oaths and divine mandates rather than mere decoration. A masked face conceals the man beneath, leaving only discipline and doctrine in its place.
Sculpted with remarkable surface detail across his layered armour, scale-patterned cloak border, and rune-covered pauldrons and greaves, this miniature rewards both the painter who wants to pick out every inscription and the Dungeon Master who simply wants to place something with genuine visual weight on the table. He works equally well as a fanatical human warrior, a paladin of a ruthless lawful order, or the face of an institution the party has been trying to avoid for three sessions running. Equally at home on a gaming table or a display shelf.
Brought here for adventurers who:
- Need an imposing lawful-aligned warrior or antagonist NPC for their campaign
- Are building an inquisition, witch-hunter, or holy order encounter
- Want a Fighter, Paladin, or Champion-class miniature with genuine character and presence
- Are collectors drawn to heavily detailed sculpts with strong thematic identity
Encounter Hook:
The party has finally tracked the heretic scholar to a safehouse in the merchant quarter — but when they arrive, the Knights of the Inquisition are already at the door. The lead knight turns, greataxe resting on his shoulder, and asks in a flat voice whether the party has the appropriate writ to be conducting an investigation in this jurisdiction. They do not.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue brings them together neatly. The sculpted base interacts with the pose, so we recommend attaching it for the best presentation. Some minor imperfections from the printing process may be present; these are easily tidied up before priming. The mini arrives fully cured and support-free, ready for your brushes.
