This is Pose 01 of our Knight of the Inquisition range, sculpted by DM Stash. The figure presents a heavily armoured warrior standing with coiled readiness — a long ornate glaive planted firmly at their side, a short sword held low at the hip, and a broad-brimmed bascinet helmet lending them a silhouette somewhere between crusader and wandering ronin. The armour is etched with runes across every plate, and a woven cape billows behind them, its hem lined with script as though the very fabric carries an oath. The detail on the rear of the cape — visible from behind — is exceptional, with the textile weave rendered in full relief. The textured rubble-and-grass base grounds the figure in the world.
Whether you're statting them up as a paladin of a fallen empire, a divine champion serving a morally ambiguous inquisitor order, or the veteran bodyguard of a secretive arcane council, this sculpt carries real gravitas. Equally at home on a painted display shelf as it is on the encounter mat.
A good match for adventurers who:
- Run campaigns featuring knightly orders, inquisitions, or zealous martial factions
- Need a commanding Fighter, Paladin, or Oath of Vengeance character mini
- Want a display piece that rewards careful painting — every surface has something to work with
- Are building a city-guard captain, divine enforcer, or campaign antagonist with presence
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in the market town of Vel Ashren to find three of its aldermen dead — each bearing a branded symbol on their palm. By nightfall, a lone knight in rune-etched armour is waiting at the inn door. They do not knock. They say only: "You have something that belongs to the Inquisition."
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces, best attached with superglue — the figure is designed to interact with the base, so we recommend keeping them together. Printed unpainted and ready for priming, painting, or use straight from the box. As with all hand-finished resin work, minor imperfections are possible; any small marks or residual support points can be cleaned up easily. This is Pose 01 — check our store for other variants in the Knight of the Inquisition range.
