Description
They say Lothar the Black has not removed his helm since the siege — that whatever face remains beneath the visor is no longer one he wishes the living to see.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Lothar cuts a formidable silhouette: a seasoned warrior encased in layered plate etched with runes and scale-pattern detailing, his enormous greatsword shouldered with the casual ease of a man who has carried it through a hundred battles. A billowing cloak sweeps dramatically behind him, caught mid-motion as though the wind itself moves to mark his passing. His crested helm and chainmail gorget speak of a knight of some former honour — whatever has become of that honour now is a question best left to your players to uncover.
From the A Grim Siege 5e grimdark adventure collection by DM Stash, Lothar works equally well as a brooding antagonist, a fallen paladin turned mercenary, or a world-weary fighter NPC with dangerous secrets. The sculpt's dark atmosphere and imposing scale make him just as arresting on a display shelf as he is across a battlemap.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a named villain, rival knight, or morally complex quest-giver
- Are running a siege, city-state conflict, or grimdark military campaign
- Want a Fighter or fallen Paladin player character with real visual gravitas
- Collect grimdark or dark fantasy display miniatures
Encounter Hook:
The party is tasked with delivering terms of surrender to the besieging force — but the knight who steps forward to receive them is Lothar the Black, a man the party's veteran fighter once served alongside before his court martial. He offers them a counter-proposal: help him take the city from within, or leave in pieces. His visor never lifts. His sword never moves from his shoulder.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic rubble base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with super glue — the base and figure interact closely, so we recommend keeping them paired as sculpted. Arrives ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box with its sharp detail already on show.
