- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
The Knight of Gluttony is a large-scale collector's bust from Witchsong Miniatures, and every centimetre of it earns its place on the shelf. The sculpt presents a crowned, gaunt-faced warrior whose expression carries the haunted vacancy of something no longer fully in control of its own form. Framing his face, jagged crown-like spines erupt upward like shattered iron, while a vast, scale-armoured creature wraps itself around his torso — its multiple lidded eyes staring outward, its clawed hand clutching a dark orb at the base. The layered, stitched cloak draped across one shoulder adds a further sense of something cobbled together, something wearing the skin of knighthood over something far older and far worse. The textural contrast between scaled hide, worn fabric, and sharp bone-like protrusions makes this a genuinely rewarding painting project — every surface tells a different story.
Whether you display it painted on a shelf or use it as visual shorthand for a corrupted champion in your campaign, this bust rewards the time you put into it.
Built for adventurers who:
- Want a large-format painting project with genuine compositional complexity
- Are building a display collection of dark fantasy or horror-themed busts
- Need a visual reference for a corrupted knight, cursed patron, or body-horror villain in a D&D or TTRPG campaign
- Appreciate sculpts that tell a story without a single word of lore attached
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a series of village disappearances along the old King's Road — livestock first, then people. When they finally corner the culprit in the ruins of a wayshrine, they find not a monster but a knight in cracked ceremonial armour, kneeling in prayer. He turns slowly. His face is calm. The thing wrapped around his chest is not. It has already seen them, and it is already hungry.

What's included:
This is a large-scale collector's display bust — not a standard 32mm tabletop piece. It arrives unpainted and unsupported, mounted on a sculpted stone plinth base as seen in the product images. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor surface marks may occasionally be present and are easily addressed with light preparation before painting.
