Knight (Lancelot) by Primal Collectibles
Description
Once the greatest knight of Camelot, Lancelot du Lac stands at the edge of honour and ruin — his sword arm unbowed, his heart a battlefield no enemy could conquer.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This miniature is part of Primal Collectibles' Chronicles of Excalibur range, and it captures Lancelot with the gravitas his legend demands. Clad in ornately engraved plate armour adorned with swirling knotwork and heraldic details, his billowing cape caught mid-wind, he stands with a longsword planted tip-down at his side — a champion at rest, but never truly at ease. The scenic base features lily pads and marsh reeds, evoking the watery origins of his name. Three distinct poses are available in this range, each showing a slightly different aspect of the knight: one facing forward with quiet authority, one gazing into the middle distance with a hint of melancholy, and one turned three-quarters, cape fully unfurled.
Whether you're running an Arthurian-inspired TTRPG campaign, populating a court with legendary NPCs, or building a display shelf of classic heroic figures, Lancelot brings immediate narrative weight to whatever table he graces. He works equally well as a noble Fighter or Paladin PC, a storied quest-giver, a tragic rival, or the centrepiece of a painted display collection.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Want a named, lore-rich knight for an Arthurian or high-fantasy campaign
- Need a commanding Fighter or Paladin miniature for a player character
- Are building a display collection of legendary figures from myth and legend
- Run campaigns featuring courts, tournaments, forbidden loyalties, or quests for sacred relics
- Enjoy painting highly detailed armour with intricate surface textures
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a fog-shrouded ford to find a lone knight standing vigil over a fallen comrade — his armour bearing a cross emblem none of them recognise. He does not draw his sword. He simply says: "You should not have come. But since you have — swear to me you will see this to its end."
