Description

It moves with the memory of a warrior's discipline — blades drawn from the grave, whip crackling with dark energy, advancing as though death itself were merely an inconvenience.

  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the Knight Horror Skeleton 05, part of Witchsong Miniatures' Knight Horror Skeleton range — a series of armoured undead warriors sculpted with exceptional character and variety across poses. This particular variant catches the figure mid-lunge: one knee raised, a thorned tendril whip coiling outward from its right arm, while multiple swords and bladed weapons rise from its back like a bristling armoury of stolen trophies. The fractured plate armour carries the look of something ancient and relentless, and the base is strewn with broken stone and a half-buried skull — as though the battlefield itself remembers what this thing once was.

Whether you're building a necromancer's elite guard, populating a cursed keep's inner sanctum, or placing a named lieutenant on the table to give your players pause, this sculpt carries the weight of genuine menace. It reads equally well as a boss encounter on its own or as the centrepiece of a larger undead warband. As a display piece, the dynamic pose and layered detail reward careful painting — the tendril arm in particular offers a brilliant opportunity for OSL or blight effects.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a commanding undead lieutenant or boss monster for a mid-to-high level encounter
  • Are running a Ravenloft, cursed ruins, or necromancer's fortress arc
  • Want a display-worthy undead knight with a dynamic, narrative-driven pose
  • Are building a themed undead warband with varied sculpts across the range

Encounter Hook:
The party has fought their way to the burial vault's antechamber when the iron door ahead swings open without a hand to move it. A figure steps through — armoured, ancient, and very much awake. It draws no single weapon. It doesn't need to. The blades jutting from its back are trophies, not tools. The thorned whip at its side is enough.

This model is printed at a larger scale than standard 32mm — the base is 80mm, sized by the artist to suit a boss or elite encounter role. If you'd like it scaled differently, get in touch and we'll see what we can do. The base is supplied detached for ease of painting and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin prints, minor marks may occasionally remain and are easily tidied up before priming.
