Knight Horror Skeleton 02 is a towering undead brute, sculpted with the kind of grim authority that makes players sit up straight when you place it on the table. This is pose 2 of the Knight Horror Skeleton range from Witchsong Miniatures, and where pose 1 may invite dread, this one commands it — dual battle-axes raised and ready, a broad-shouldered frame clad in riveted plate, and a snarling, hollow-eyed skull that has long since forgotten mercy. The layered armour is battered but intact, studded with iron rivets and edged with tattered cloth — the remnants of a warrior who never truly stopped fighting. A secondary short blade hangs at the hip, suggesting this brute brings options to every encounter. The sculpted rubble base gives the impression of something that has just smashed its way through a wall to reach your party.

At 80mm base size, this is a deliberately oversized sculpt — the artist has scaled this model to dominate the table as a boss-tier threat rather than rank-and-file undead filler. It works equally well as a named undead champion, a revenant warlord, or a Death Knight stand-in for any campaign running through crypts, cursed battlefields, or necromancer strongholds. Off the table, it makes a commanding display piece with excellent sculpt depth for painters who enjoy layering weathered metal and bone.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a visually imposing undead boss or BBEG for a climactic dungeon encounter
  • Are running campaigns in Ravenloft, cursed ruins, or necromantic territories
  • Want a centrepiece model for their undead army or display shelf
  • Enjoy painting heavily armoured, character-rich sculpts with strong surface detail

Encounter Hook:
The party finds the tomb of General Varek — sealed for two centuries, the door etched with warnings in a dead language. As the rogue picks the final lock, the sound of plate armour shifting in the dark echoes from within. Something remembers the sound of intruders. Something is still angry about the last battle it lost.

Details

This model is supplied at 80mm base size as designed by the artist, scaled intentionally to read as a boss-tier character at the table. If you would like a different scale, please get in touch and we will do what we can. The base is supplied detached and can be attached with standard hobby glue. The miniature is supplied unpainted and ready for priming — use as-is for a suitably grim grey-bone aesthetic, or prime and paint to your specification.
