Description

Where lesser undead shamble and claw, the Knight Horror Lieutenant commands — a warlord of bone and feather who has not forgotten the art of war.

  • ✔ Display-scale miniature — larger than standard 32mm gaming scale
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Equally suited to display shelves and the gaming table

This is no shambling revenant. The Knight Horror Lieutenant is a towering, armour-clad undead champion sculpted with an almost martial elegance — feathered pauldrons sweep across broad shoulders, layered plate wraps around a skeletal frame, and in one raised fist a cluster of long, blade-like hookclaws fans outward like a death-bird's talon. In the other hand, a sweeping crescent blade curves and tapers to jagged, perforated tips. The pose is mid-stride and aggressive, one foot raised on a crumbling stone ruin, the figure leaning forward as though already in the charge. This is a miniature that reads as dangerous before paint has even touched it.

At display scale (80mm base), the Knight Horror Lieutenant is built to dominate a table — a centrepiece encounter piece for Dungeon Masters running necromantic campaigns, undead sieges, or the kind of final-room confrontation players won't forget. The sculpt carries enough character detail — the avian feathering, the ornate armour joints, the dramatic silhouette of those hookclaw blades — to reward careful painters and impress even unpainted on the board. Equally at home on a display shelf as it is commanding a battlefield encounter.

Drawn to this miniature, adventurers who:

  • Need a visually commanding undead lieutenant or BBEG for their D&D or TTRPG campaign
  • Are running necromantic armies, cursed strongholds, or death knight storylines
  • Want a centrepiece miniature with genuine presence on the display shelf
  • Enjoy ambitious painting projects with deep sculptural detail to work into
  • Collect display-scale fantasy miniatures from independent artists

Encounter Hook:
The party breaches the inner sanctum of the Ashen Citadel to find the phylactery — only to hear the slow, deliberate clank of armoured bone descending the stairs behind them. The Knight Horror Lieutenant was not listed in any tome they consulted. It was never meant to be found.

This miniature is printed at display scale with an 80mm base, making it notably larger than a standard 32mm character model — sized this way by the artist to serve as a boss-level centrepiece. The base ships detached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Ready for priming and painting straight away, or use it unpainted directly on the table. If you'd like to discuss alternative scaling, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
