Knight Horror Dregh of the Waste by Witchsong Miniatures
Description
They called him a knight once — before the rot claimed his flesh and something far older moved into his bones.
- ✔ Display-scale miniature — larger than standard 32mm gaming scale
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Equally suited to display shelves and the gaming table
Dregh of the Waste is no common skeleton. This is a warlord reborn in ruin, his massive frame clad in jagged, spike-laden armour that speaks of a martial life long since surrendered to undeath. He strides forward in a hunched, menacing gait — broadsword levelled in one gauntleted fist, a runed warhammer raised in the other — as if death itself merely sharpened his instinct for violence. The skull-faced helm, the chains looped at his waist, the scrollwork carved into every plate of his corrupted armour: every detail marks him as something that once commanded armies and now simply refuses to stop.
Sculpted by Witchsong Miniatures at display scale with an 80mm base, Dregh cuts an imposing silhouette whether he's anchoring the centre of a battlefield encounter or commanding a shelf. The detailed scenic base — fractured stonework etched with arcane sigils — grounds him perfectly in a cursed tomb or blighted keep. This is a centrepiece miniature in every sense: the kind of model that makes players sit up a little straighter when it hits the table.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a formidable BBEG or undead warlord for a climactic campaign encounter
- Are building a Ravenloft, Shadowfell, or necromantic army collection
- Want a display-scale painting project with exceptional surface detail
- Are running a Dungeons & Dragons 5e or other TTRPG campaign and need a boss that commands respect
Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the source of the undead incursions to a collapsed keep at the edge of the Ashen Waste — and as they push open the final vault door, the grinding of armoured bone echoes from the dark. Dregh was the general who razed this land three centuries ago. The curse that killed him never let him leave.
This miniature is printed at display scale — the base measures 80mm, making Dregh noticeably larger than a standard 32mm hero miniature, as intended by the artist. The base is supplied detached and can be affixed with a small amount of glue. The model arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight from the box as an unpainted grey miniature. If you'd like a different scale, feel free to message us and we'll see what we can arrange.
