Kitsune Blade of the Forest by Great Grimoire

She steps from the shadow of the ancient cedar grove — fox ears pricked, twin blade-pins gleaming in her hair, nine spectral tails unfurling like smoke behind her — and every instinct tells you she has been watching far longer than you have been walking.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Kitsune Blade of the Forest is a fox-spirit of considerable power and poise, sculpted with extraordinary flowing movement — her layered robes billow as if caught in a wind only she commands, while a carved fox mask is raised in one hand and her long tails spiral outward in a display of controlled supernatural force. Twin dao-style blades are pinned through her elaborate upswept hair, hinting at a fighter's discipline beneath the illusion-weaver's grace. She stands with quiet authority — the kind that comes from centuries, not training.

In D&D 5e terms, she works beautifully as a Glamour Bard, a Trickery Domain Cleric, an Arcane Trickster Rogue, or a full Enchantment Wizard — or simply as one of the most distinctive NPCs your players will ever encounter across a table. As a display piece, the layered detail across her robes, tails, and headdress rewards a skilled painter with near-endless opportunity.

Well suited for adventurers who:

• Want a fox-spirit character with genuine presence at the table or on the shelf
• Need a memorable, morally ambiguous NPC — guardian, deceiver, or something in between
• Are building East Asian-inspired or forest-spirit-themed campaign settings
• Collect display miniatures from independent sculptors with exceptional detail

Encounter Hook:
The party enters a bamboo forest marked on no map, following rumours of a stolen artefact. At the tree line stands a woman in flowing white robes, fox mask raised, watching them with amber eyes. She addresses the rogue by name — a name they haven't used in years — and smiles. She knows where the artefact is. She knows who took it. She'll tell them everything, she says. For a price. The price will not be what they expect.

What's included:
This miniature is printed at 35mm scale. If you'd prefer 32mm scaling, simply send us a message and we'll adjust it for you. A plain black base is included as standard; a decorative base option is also available — if you select this, please send a note letting us know which of the three base styles you'd prefer. The base arrives separate and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch, and each piece is fully cured. As with all hand-finished resin work, minor marks may occasionally be present — these are easily tidied up before priming.
