Sir Constantine is no mere monarch. He is a warrior-king drawn from the deep lore of Arthurian legend — a man who has carried both crown and blade, and who bears the weight of each with equal resolve. Clad in engraved plate armour beneath a sweeping fur-trimmed cloak, with a royal crown resting on his brow, Constantine stands as a figure of authority earned on the battlefield rather than inherited at court. Three distinct poses capture the full breadth of his character: hands folded over his longsword in solemn vigil, one hand resting lightly on the pommel with a watchful gaze, and a commanding stance with sword planted at his side as he surveys the realm that is — or was — his to protect.
From the Chronicles of Excalibur collection by Primal Collectibles, this miniature is equally at home on the gaming table as a pivotal NPC, a rival monarch, or a fallen hero reclaimed — and on the display shelf as a centrepiece of any Arthurian or fantasy court diorama. The sculpt rewards careful painting, with deep folds in the cloak, fine filigree on the armour's trim, and a face etched with quiet authority.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need a high-ranking NPC ruler, patron, or quest-giver with genuine gravitas
- Are running Arthurian, medieval, or court-intrigue campaigns
- Want a Fighter or Paladin player character with a regal, warrior-king aesthetic
- Are building a painted display piece from Excalibur-inspired mythology
- Collect across the Chronicles of Excalibur range and want the full cast
Encounter Hook:
The party is granted a private audience with King Constantine in the throne room of a besieged citadel. He is not asking for rescue — he is asking for witnesses. He places Excalibur on the table between them and tells them that what happens next will determine whether the realm remembers this age as glory or ash. The sword is theirs to carry. The choice is theirs to make.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative scenic base is included as a separate piece and attaches with a small amount of glue — Constantine's pose is sculpted to interact with the base, and the two look their best together. Three pose variants are available; please check our other listings to collect the full range. Each piece is quality-checked before dispatch; minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present and are easily tidied with light sanding.
