King (King Rience) by Primal Collectibles
Description

- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
King Rience is one of the great antagonists of Arthurian legend — a boastful, brutish warlord who styles himself a king of kings, collecting humiliations as readily as territory. This sculpt from Primal Collectibles' Chronicles of Excalibur range captures him in three distinct poses, each rendered as a digital render in grey, showcasing the depth of the sculpt before paint. He stands broad and imposing, clad in engraved breastplate armour with sweeping fur-lined pauldrons and a great fur cloak, a braided beard spilling down his chest. A spiked crown sits atop his head and a tall ceremonial staff is gripped firmly in one hand, his free hand resting on his hip with the casual arrogance of a man who has never once doubted his own authority. The decorative stone-flagged plinth base — with a fragment of ruined masonry at his feet — gives him the bearing of a ruler surveying conquered land.
Each of the three available pose variants presents a slightly different angle and stance, giving Dungeon Masters the flexibility to choose the version that best suits the scene — whether that's a formal audience, a battlefield declaration, or the moment before a very ill-advised confrontation with the party's paladin. All three work equally well for gaming and display collecting.
Perfect for adventurers who:- Need a memorable antagonist king or warlord NPC with genuine narrative weight
- Are running Arthurian-themed, dark ages, or political intrigue campaigns
- Want a large, characterful display piece that rewards careful painting
- Are building a faction of rival kings or a court of powerful enemies
- Play or DM campaigns where a CR-appropriate tyrant boss encounter is long overdue
Encounter Hook:
The party is summoned to a neutral castle to broker a truce between two warring kingdoms — but when they arrive, they find King Rience already seated at the head of the table, staff in hand, grinning beneath his braided beard. He doesn't want a truce. He wants the party to deliver a message to their liege: bend the knee, or be the next entry in his collection.

What's included:
This listing is for a single pose of the King Rience miniature, printed at 32mm scale. The decorative base is included and is supplied as a separate piece — a small amount of glue is all that's needed to attach it. The base is an integral part of the composition and the two are designed to work together. As with all hand-finished miniatures, minor surface marks may occasionally be present and are easily addressed before priming. The miniature arrives ready to prime and paint, or display as-is in grey.
