Description
They say the crown of Gorgosh was forged from the bones of every king he slew — and that wearing it was the last thing he ever did as a mortal.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
This large-format display bust captures Gorgosh in all his terrible authority: a crowned undead orc warlord, his jaw stretched in a fang-baring snarl, long lank hair spilling over a broad, muscular frame. His spiked iron crown bears runes of domination, and a sweeping feathered mantle wraps his shoulders in dark, layered plumage — each feather sculpted individually and packed with paintable texture. A single swept-back horn erupts from his right shoulder, hinting at daemonic pacts and a reign that outlasted death itself. The back of the piece is just as richly detailed as the front, making this a true all-round display sculpt rather than a flat showcase piece.
Whether you paint him as a vampire lord, an undead orc warchief, a lich-king's champion, or the BBEG your players have been dreading for six sessions, Gorgosh carries the weight of a character who has seen empires rise and fall — and who plans to outlast a few more. Mounted on a classical tiered plinth base, this bust is built to anchor a display shelf or painting competition entry.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want a large, detailed bust for a serious painting project
- Are building a display collection of iconic fantasy villains
- Need a visual prop or NPC reference for a dark fantasy or Ravenloft-style campaign
- Are looking for a centrepiece gift for a DM or miniature painter
Encounter Hook:
The throne room of Ashkar Hold has been silent for three centuries — until tonight, when the war-horn sounded and the banners of Gorgosh rose again above the battlements. His name is carved into the keep's foundation stones. The crown was supposed to have been destroyed. Someone is going to have to go in there and find out why it wasn't.
Details
This is a display bust, scaled for detailed painting and shelf presentation rather than standard 32mm tabletop use. The bust comes mounted on a tiered plinth base as shown. Printed in grey resin at high resolution, supports removed. Minor surface marks can occur during the printing process and are easily addressed before painting.
