This miniature captures Kenshin in a low, driving combat stance — one knee dropped to the ground, weight coiled and ready to explode forward. His ornately carved staff is raised high overhead in a two-handed overhead strike, its detailed engravings visible along the full length of the weapon. A short sword is tucked across his back, ready but not yet needed. Kenshin's shaved head, close-cropped beard, and rope-bound travelling robes speak to a life of austere discipline, and the dynamic flow of his clothing tells you this blow has real force behind it.
