  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

Kenshin Tanaka is a human monk sculpted with a clear eye for martial drama. His shaven head is lowered into a guard, broad-legged stance planted on a rubble-strewn base, both hands gripping the hilt of a straight sword drawn tight across his body. It is a pose built around the moment just before the strike — coiled, deliberate, and radiating the kind of calm that only comes from years of gruelling training. A travelling pack and a coiled prayer cord sit across his shoulders and waist, hinting at a life lived on the road rather than behind monastery walls. The detail carries through to the wrappings at his shins and the engraved medallion at his belt.

This sculpt suits a Way of the Kensei monk to a tee, though he works equally well as a wandering swordsman NPC, a martial arts instructor, or a rival the party encounters on the road to a mountain shrine. He is just as much at home on a display shelf as he is on a battlemat.

A good fit for adventurers who:

  • Play or DM a Way of the Kensei or Way of Shadow monk character
  • Need a grounded, martial NPC with a lived-in, travelled look
  • Want a named character with strong Eastern-inspired aesthetics for their campaign
  • Collect display-scale miniatures with dynamic, story-telling poses

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a mountain pass to find the road blocked — not by a creature, but by a lone figure sitting cross-legged in the dust, sword across his knees. Kenshin Tanaka does not turn as they approach. He says only: "The ones you seek came through this pass at dawn. I let them pass. I will not let you." He rises slowly, and the stance he drops into tells you everything about how this conversation is going to end.
