Kenshin Tanaka is a warrior-monk whose body is both prayer and weapon. Shaven-headed and bare-chested beneath a half-open training robe, he launches into a high crescent kick with the controlled ferocity of someone who has drilled this movement ten thousand times before dawn. A rope belt, ornate medallion, and string of prayer beads speak to a life of discipline; the sword slung across his back suggests that discipline has limits. This is a monk who has mastered the Way of the Open Hand — and knows exactly where to put a foot when words have run out.

The sculpt captures a moment of absolute commitment: weight forward, supporting leg barely touching ground, raised fist cocked and ready. The textured wrist wraps, carved belt medallion, and detailed robe folds give painters plenty to work with, while the cracked stone base grounds the figure with real energy. Whether you're representing a D&D 5e Monk in full Flurry of Blows or adding a charismatic martial arts rival to your campaign, Kenshin makes his presence felt at every scale.

For adventurers who:

  • Play or DM a Monk PC and want a mini that captures the class at full tilt
  • Need a martial arts master, monastery guardian, or order enforcer as an NPC
  • Want a dynamic display piece that looks as good off the table as it does on it
  • Are building an Eastern-inspired campaign setting with vivid, characterful figures

Encounter Hook:
The party's path through the mountain monastery is blocked by a lone monk standing at the gate. No weapon drawn, no words spoken — just one raised fist and a look that says he's already calculated exactly how this ends. Whether he's a test, a rival, or the villain they've been hunting, the encounter begins with that kick hanging in the air.
