This is the second pose in our Kenku Scout range by Novaminis, and where Scout 01 stands ready, this one is already moving. Hunched low in a predatory crouch, this birdfolk operative wears a stitched leather hood and cloak that pulls tight across taloned shoulders, with every feather and seam sculpted with sharp conviction. The broad, hooked beak juts forward beneath the hood's shadow, and a short sword hangs loose in one clawed hand — grip unhurried, which somehow makes it worse. Scaled avian feet with pronounced talons anchor the pose mid-stalk, giving the whole figure a coiled, watchful energy that reads clearly across the tabletop.
Kenku in D&D lore are creatures of mimicry, cunning, and quiet menace — cursed to echo the voices of others, yet perfectly capable of speaking through action. This sculpt captures that duality: something between a scout, a cutpurse, and a predator sizing up its next move. Whether you're fielding a pack of them as urban antagonists or building out a Kenku player character with genuine presence, this pose brings a distinct silhouette to the encounter.

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to find a fence operating out of the Dockside Quarter. Three sessions in, they realise they've been watched the entire time — the same hunched, hooded figure clocked in three separate locations. When they finally corner it in a narrow alley, the Kenku tilts its beaked head, drops a stolen guild seal at their feet, and says nothing. It doesn't need to.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a drop of glue. The sculpt arrives support-free and ready for priming and painting, though it looks characterful straight from the box as a display piece too. Minor surface marks from the printing process are possible and can be tidied with light sanding.
