Description

They say Kenku cannot create — only mimic — but those who have heard Assow play swear the melody is entirely her own.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Assow is a Kenku bard of rare expressiveness, her corvid features framed by a soft hood as her talon-tipped fingers move across the strings of her lute with practised ease. The sculpt captures her mid-performance: one scaled foot raised, robes draped in flowing folds, a ribbon trailing from the instrument's neck. There is something quietly defiant in her posture — a creature defined by imitation choosing, in this moment, to perform something that feels very much like art.

Kenku make for richly textured player characters and NPCs alike: bards cursed to echo the music of others, yet somehow managing to make it feel new. Assow is equally at home as a wandering street performer, a spy whose melodies carry hidden messages, or the most unexpectedly talented member of an adventuring party. Sculpted with exceptional detail across her feathered face, layered clothing, and ornate lute, she rewards careful painting and holds her own as an unpainted display piece. Available at 32mm tabletop scale and 54mm display scale.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Are playing a Kenku bard and want a mini that actually matches the character
  • Need a memorable bardic NPC — a street musician, a royal entertainer, or a guild contact
  • Are drawn to birdfolk and avian character designs in their TTRPG parties
  • Collect display-scale miniatures from independent fantasy sculptors
  • Want a character with genuine personality straight out of the box

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in a city under curfew — music is forbidden by order of the new magistrate. Yet each evening, a hauntingly familiar melody drifts from the rooftops, drawing crowds despite the risk. When they finally track the performer down, perched on a chimney stack with her lute and an unsettling calm, Assow tilts her head and mimics back the last three words each of them spoke. She knows something. Whether she'll share it is another matter entirely.

Available at 32mm tabletop scale (with or without a plain black base — supplied unattached, easily fixed with super glue) and 54mm display scale. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin prints, minor marks may occasionally remain and can be cleaned up with ease. Each piece is fully cured and ready to prime.
