Description
It moves before you hear it — a hooded silhouette dropping from the eaves, curved blade already drawn, hollow eyes catching no light at all.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is pose 2 of the Kenku Ambusher range from Novaminis, and it captures the creature mid-stalk: weight shifted forward, blade extended to one side, feathered arms spread wide beneath a tattered, lace-stitched cloak. The sculpt leans into the kenku's dual nature — part street thief, part cursed remnant of something that once flew. Beneath the deep hood, that sharp beak and single glinting eye speak of eerie, mimicking intelligence. Layered leather armour, buckled greaves, and a vest of mismatched buttons complete the look of a creature that steals not just coin, but identity.
Whether you're running a city underbelly campaign or populating a thieves' guild with genuine menace, this miniature brings the kenku's unsettling character to the table. The dynamic stance makes it equally at home on a gaming grid or a display shelf — the detail in the feathering, the cloak folds, and the taloned feet rewards a careful paint job.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need kenku NPCs, gang members, or assassins for urban D&D encounters
- Are running Waterdeep, Ravnica, or any city-intrigue campaign setting
- Want a kenku Rogue miniature that reads as genuinely threatening
- Collect creature minis with strong character and paintable detail
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to recover a stolen ledger from the Hollow Flock — a kenku thieves' guild who communicate only in stolen voices. As they move through the warehouse district at dusk, a familiar voice calls out from the rooftop above: it's the exact voice of the city watch captain who briefed them that morning. Then two more answer from the shadows on either side.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is printed to a high standard; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up.
