Kappa the Water Demon is a creature of corrupted depths and spectral hunger. Sculpted in a brooding, hunched pose atop a rubble-strewn base scattered with skulls, this fiend radiates a sense of ancient malice barely contained — claws clasped, beak-like face lowered, enormous clawed feet gripping the earth. The sculpt captures a monster in the moment before it acts, which is often the most terrifying moment of all.

Accompanying Kappa are four will-o'-wisp familiars, each with a distinct form: a swirling vortex, a coiled tendril, a grinning jack-o'-lantern face, and a skull-cradling wraith-flame. These smaller pieces work brilliantly as scatter terrain, encounter markers, or summoned spirits in their own right — four distinct sculpts that bring the marsh's cursed atmosphere to your tabletop.

Encounter Hook:
The fishing village has been leaving offerings at the water's edge for three generations — not out of reverence, but fear. When the party investigates the latest disappearance, they find the offerings untouched, the water still, and five small flames drifting slowly toward them through the fog.

This set is printed at 35mm scale. If you'd prefer 32mm scaling, drop us a message and we'll adjust it for you. A decorative base option is available — please include a note with your order specifying which of the three base styles you'd like. Both the decorative and plain black bases are supplied separately and can be attached with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally remain and are easily tidied up. Every piece is fully cured and ready for priming and painting — or use it straight from the box if you prefer the raw resin look.
