Description

Born from a ley line fracture and still crackling with wild magic it cannot yet contain, Fyrindel is a creature of terrible beauty — young enough to be curious, old enough to be lethal.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Mana Wyrms are not merely dragons that wield magic — they are dragons that are magic, their serpentine bodies woven through with arcane energy drawn from the world's hidden currents. Fyrindel, a juvenile of the species, has the sinuous, limbless form of a great wyrm but already carries the hallmarks of something far more dangerous: broad feathered wings capable of riding magical thermals, a crested head ringed with feather-like spines, and a coiling body that moves with unsettling, almost liquid grace. The decorative sculpted base captures a surge of crystalline mana energy erupting beneath the creature, as though Fyrindel has simply risen from the weave itself.

This sculpt carries extraordinary surface detail throughout — individually scaled body segments along the ribbed underbelly, layered feathering across the wings, and a dramatic upward-coiling pose that makes this as arresting a display piece as it is a formidable encounter model. Whether you're running a high-magic campaign, a planar adventure into mana-rich wild zones, or simply want a dragon unlike any standard chromatic or metallic variety, Fyrindel earns its place on the table.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a visually distinctive arcane or magic-type dragon encounter
  • Are running campaigns with heavy spellpunk, planar, or high-fantasy themes
  • Want a wyrm-style dragon sculpt without the standard four-legged form
  • Are building a display shelf worthy of a centrepiece
  • Play or run games where rare dragon subtypes add lore depth

Encounter Hook:
The party's wizard notices it first — every prepared spell in their mind suddenly flickers, as though the words have been half-forgotten. Then the ley line beneath the crossroads tears open, and Fyrindel rises from the surge, wings spread wide, drawn to the taste of concentrated magic the party's spellcasters are radiating. It does not attack immediately. It is watching. Learning. Deciding whether they are a threat — or a meal.

Fyrindel is scaled to 32mm and comes with a separate decorative base that fits the sculpt closely — the creature interacts with the base in a way that makes it well worth attaching. The model arrives pre-supported and is ready for priming and painting straight away, though it looks striking unpainted too. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor surface marks are possible and easily tidied up.
