Juiblex by Monster Atlas
Description
In the deepest caverns of the Abyss, where even other demon lords refuse to tread, the Faceless Lord seeps through the dark — a mound of writhing slime, countless eyes blinking from its corrupted mass.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Juiblex is one of the oldest and most unsettling of the demon lords — a being of pure dissolution, with no ambition beyond consuming all things into its formless body. Unlike the posturing warlords of the Abyss, Juiblex doesn't scheme or bargain. It simply spreads. Those who worship it are drawn to its promise of transformation: to become part of something eternal, if utterly mindless. For Dungeon Masters running Underdark campaigns, cults of decay, or aberrant horror arcs, Juiblex makes an extraordinary boss encounter or summoned horror.
This miniature captures the Faceless Lord in characteristic form — a grotesque, bulbous mass of sickly yellow-green slime, dozens of unblinking eyes dotting its surface, and rag-like tendrils of corrupted matter hanging from its bloated bulk. It looms upright with a terrible, slow menace, every detail of its fleshy horror faithfully rendered at 32mm scale. Equally compelling as a gaming piece or a display model for those who collect the stranger corners of the D&D bestiary.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are running Underdark campaigns or Out of the Abyss storylines
- Need a demon lord miniature that genuinely unsettles the table
- Collect D&D monster miniatures, especially demon lords and oozes
- Want a centrepiece painting project with real textural challenge
- Are building encounters around cults of dissolution or abyssal corruption
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a series of disappearances in a duergar mining settlement — workers found dissolved in their beds, nothing left but slick residue and a faint smell of decay. The cult responsible has been feeding offerings to a crack in the cavern floor for months. Tonight, they've finally fed it enough. The crack is no longer a crack. It is an eye. Then another. Then a dozen more, blinking open in the dark as Juiblex pulls itself through.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces — attach with a small amount of superglue. The decorative base is worth using, as the sculpt is designed to interact with it. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or striking enough to display as-is.
