Description

She drifts across the web like a whisper — parasol in hand, faces stolen from the living adorning her abdomen like trophies, each one still wearing its final expression.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Jorogumo Unmasker of Faces is one of those miniatures that stops a table cold. Her upper half is all poise and elegance — a geisha-like figure carrying a delicate parasol, hair swept up, expression unreadable. Her lower half tells the truth: a great spider's body decorated with the faces of her victims, pressed into chitin like macabre cameos. This is a creature of seduction and horror in equal measure, drawn from Japanese folklore and twisted into something that belongs at the heart of your darkest campaign arc.

The sculpt by Great Grimoire captures her duality with remarkable detail — the parasol's bone-and-fabric construction, the layered faces embedded across her spider thorax, and the rocky base that roots her in a specific, sinister place. She reads as a boss monster the moment she hits the table, and she's equally compelling as a display piece for collectors drawn to dark fantasy aesthetics.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a BBEG with genuine presence and unsettling lore potential
  • Are building an Asian-inspired or folklore-driven campaign arc
  • Want a centrepiece monster that doubles as a display-worthy collector's piece
  • Are painting challenge-seekers — the contrasting textures of silk, bone, and chitin offer real scope

Encounter Hook:
The village headman has been missing for three days. His face turned up this morning — pressed into the abdomen of something that now sits at the centre of the old shrine, holding court with the faces of eleven others, waiting to see who comes to bargain for their return.

This miniature is printed at 35mm scale. If you'd prefer a different scale, send us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate you. A decorative base option is available — if selected, please include a note specifying which of the three base styles you'd like. The base arrives separate and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks are occasionally possible and can be cleaned up with ease.
