Description

Before the age of gods was reckoned in years, the World Serpent coiled itself about the roots of Yggdrasil — and has been waiting, patient and hungry, ever since.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Jormungandr needs no introduction to any adventurer who's dared to brush against Norse mythology at their table. This sculpt captures the World Serpent in its most iconic form: the ouroboros — a vast draconic serpent locked in an eternal circle, its fanged jaws drawn back and its overlapping scales rippling with coiled tension. Every ridge and plate of the serpent's body is rendered with the kind of detail that rewards a careful painter, from the textured dorsal scales along the spine to the smoother underbelly pressing against the loop below. The open maw communicates ancient, unhurried menace — this creature doesn't rage, it simply is.

On the tabletop, this piece works as a centrepiece for any Norse-inspired campaign arc, a symbol of an apocalyptic cult, or a literal encounter with the World Serpent itself. Off the table, it's a display piece that earns its shelf space. The ring form makes it naturally self-contained and visually striking from any angle.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Norse mythology-themed D&D or TTRPG campaigns
  • Want a large-scale serpent boss or world-ending threat on the table
  • Collect mythological or cosmic creature miniatures for display
  • Enjoy ambitious, detail-rich painting projects

Encounter Hook:
The seers have been unanimous for three days: the tremors beneath the northern coast are rhythmic — breathing. When the party reaches the clifftop and sees the sea itself beginning to rise in a slow, deliberate coil, their navigator whispers one word and drops the map.

This miniature is scaled to 32mm. The default diameter of the ring is 60mm — if you need a different dimension, get in touch and we'll sort it. The piece arrives with supports removed and fully cured, ready for priming and painting or use straight out of the box. As with all hand-printed pieces, minor marks from the printing process are possible and can be tidied up easily before painting.
