Description
In the crushing dark beneath the waves, where no sunlight reaches and no mortal chart has ever mapped, the Jellyfish Guardian drifts — ancient, patient, and utterly merciless to those who disturb its domain.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Part elemental force, part cursed sentinel, this extraordinary sculpt from Great Grimoire captures something that feels genuinely mythic at 32mm scale. A gaunt, multi-armed figure rises from a cascade of flowing tendrils and rippling bell-flesh, its hollow visage crowned by the membranous dome of a vast jellyfish. In one clawed hand it brandishes a wicked trident; the others curl with predatory intent, trailing spectral filaments that suggest both beauty and lethal purpose. This is not a creature that patrols — it presides.
Whether you're populating a sunken temple, statting up an elemental warden for a coastal campaign, or simply want a centrepiece that commands attention on a display shelf, this sculpt has the presence to carry it. The flowing silhouette reads clearly across a gaming table, while the surface detail — the sculpted musculature, the skull-adorned wrap, the layered tendrils — rewards close inspection and careful brushwork alike.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Run underwater or coastal D&D 5e encounters and need a memorable boss or guardian creature
- Want an elemental warden, aboleth minion, or sea-deity avatar with genuine visual authority
- Are building display collections of aquatic or aberrant miniatures
- Love a sculpt that challenges their painting skills — OSL on the tendrils, anyone?
Encounter Hook:
The party dives into the flooded lower vaults of the Drowned Archives, seeking the Tide Codex. As they reach the sealed vault door, the water ahead shimmers — and the Jellyfish Guardian uncurls from the darkness above, trident levelled, tendrils fanning wide to block every exit. It does not speak. It never has. It simply waits for them to try.

What's included:
This miniature is printed at 32mm scale (note: the original sculpt is designed at 35mm — if you'd prefer a different scale, just drop us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate). The headpiece is separate from the body and can be attached with a small amount of glue. A plain black base is included as standard. If you select the Decorative Base option, three ocean-themed base designs are available — please include a note with your order specifying your choice: Beach Scene, Anchor Scene, or Skull Scene. Each decorative base features beautifully sculpted seabed detail including coral, shells, starfish, and sunken debris. Bases are supplied separately and attach easily with glue.
