Jarl Morgran the Fierce is a barrel-chested birdfolk warlord clad in layered plate armour adorned with carved owl motifs and cascading feather pauldrons. An owl-crested helm frames his broad, tusked face, and a demon-masked torso guard adds a second snarl to his silhouette. In one claw he drags a heavy maul tipped with a grotesque beast-head, trailing low and ready — not a threat, but a promise. He is the kind of figure a party encounters once and remembers for every session after.
Details
Sculpted at 35mm scale, Morgran works equally well as a formidable boss encounter, a warlord NPC commanding a tribal warband, or a player character barbarian of monstrous presence. His detail rewards a careful paint job — the layered feather work across his shoulders, the carved owl crest, and the ornate face of that torso mask each hold shadow beautifully — but he reads powerfully even unpainted on the table.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a birdfolk warlord or barbarian chieftain for their campaign
- Are playing or DMing an avian-themed faction or tribe encounter
- Want a large, characterful miniature that anchors a display shelf as well as a battlemap
- Are looking for an imposing humanoid boss with genuine visual weight
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the cliff-side settlement expecting to negotiate safe passage — only to find the village elders already kneeling. Jarl Morgran the Fierce stands at the edge of the ridge, maul hanging at his side, watching the adventurers climb the path. He hasn't moved. He hasn't needed to. The question is whether they've come to deal, to fight, or to beg — and he doesn't intend to wait long for an answer.
This miniature is scaled to 35mm. If you would prefer 32mm scaling, send us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate. A decorative base option is available — if selected, please include a note specifying which of the three base styles you'd like. The base (decorative or plain black) is supplied separately and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; minor marks from the printing process are possible but easily tidied up. Each piece is fully cured and ready for priming and painting, or straight to the table as-is.
