The ixitxachitl are among the most unsettling denizens of the Underdark's submerged caverns: demonic rays twisted by abyssal corruption, their flat bodies fringed with jagged spines and their long, barbed tails trailing behind them like whips. This third sculpt in the range captures the creature in full flight — wings spread wide, serrated edges ragged and torn, a fanged maw visible beneath the disc of its body. The spiked tail curls outward with predatory menace, and every surface carries the texture of something that has never known mercy.
Whether you're stocking a flooded temple, a sunken ruin, or the pitch-black waters of an underground lake, this miniature brings genuine dread to the tabletop. It works equally well as a gaming piece in aquatic or Underdark encounters and as a display piece for collectors drawn to the weirder corners of the Monster Manual.

Encounter Hook:
The party dives to recover a drowned merchant's cargo from the flooded lower halls — but the water is still, too still, and then the scouts' darkvision picks out three flat shapes circling silently overhead in the submerged vault, waiting for the first splash of movement.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed in place with a drop of glue. Some minor print marks may occasionally remain after support removal; these are easily tidied up before priming.
