Ironfiend Creature by Primal Collectibles

The Ironfiend is a creature of raw, terrifying presence — part beast, part nightmare, entirely unstoppable. Sculpted from the Tales of Kreyvos world by Primal Collectibles, this miniature captures the creature mid-lunge: massive shoulders rolled forward, one clawed hand outstretched and grasping, jaws thrown wide in a snarl that speaks of nothing but violence. The mane that frames its heavy-browed face is dense and layered, bristling outward in a corona of coarse fur. Every tuft, every claw, every wrinkle of its snarling muzzle has been rendered with the kind of sculpting detail that rewards careful brushwork.

The creature crouches on a richly detailed scenic base strewn with shattered stone and rubble, giving the piece a real sense of weight and momentum — as though it has just burst through the floor itself. Whether you mount it on the decorative base for maximum drama, a plain base to keep it gaming-table practical, or present it base-free in a diorama of your own making, the Ironfiend holds its own from every angle.

For painters, this sculpt is a gift: the fur texture across the body shifts between tightly packed bristles and longer, flowing sections, offering a natural guide for layering and drybrushing. The face in particular — with its deep-set eyes, flared nostrils, and rows of exposed teeth — is the kind of focal point that makes a centrepiece piece genuinely satisfying to bring to life. A 75mm version is also available for adventurers who want to go all-in on the detail.

Well suited for adventurers who:

• Need a formidable creature to serve as a combat encounter or dungeon boss
• Paint monster miniatures as centrepiece display projects
• Want a lycanthrope-adjacent or savage beast for Ravenloft or horror campaigns
• Are building out a Tales of Kreyvos collection with Primal Collectibles sculpts

Encounter Hook

The party has tracked the beast to the ruins of the Veltharyn manor — what was once a noble family's pride, now a shattered shell of broken marble and overturned furniture. As they enter the grand ballroom, the chandelier above swings violently. Then, from the far end of the room, the Ironfiend rises from the rubble, claws scraping the tile, a sound rising from its chest that is less roar and more promise. The doors behind the party slam shut on their own.
