  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This is the Iron Torture Chair 01 from Novaminis — a beautifully grim piece of dungeon scenery that tells a story before a single word of flavour text is read. Every surface is covered in rows of inward-facing spikes and conical iron studs, with wrist manacles built into the armrests and a heavy restraining bar at the leg rest. The wooden frame is deeply textured with carved grain lines, and the overall construction reads as something a very patient and very cruel craftsperson spent a long time getting right. This is the first variant in the range, focused on a frontal, throne-like silhouette that dominates any dungeon room it's placed in.

Whether you're setting the scene for an interrogation gone wrong, a Cult of Vecna's inner sanctum, or the private collection of a sadistic noble, this piece earns its place on the table. Equally at home in a Ravenloft castle or a Waterdeep underground, it works as active terrain, environmental storytelling, or a centrepiece for a painted diorama display.

Well-suited to adventurers who:

  • Run dungeon crawls, horror campaigns, or dark political intrigue arcs
  • Want scatter terrain that actively adds atmosphere rather than just filling space
  • Are building a torture chamber, inquisitor's office, or villain's lair for their battle map
  • Paint detailed display pieces and dioramas for collection or competition

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to extract a captured spy from the Black Inquisitor's holding cells beneath Ashfall Keep. When they finally reach the lower chambers, they find the spy seated — or rather, locked — in the chair, still conscious, still able to speak, but with very little time. The inquisitor returns in twenty minutes. The chair's restraints require a DC 16 Thieves' Tools check to release quietly, or a DC 20 Strength check to rip free — loudly. Tick, tick, tick.

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or use as-is for a raw resin dungeon aesthetic. Support marks are removed as part of our process, though minor traces may occasionally remain and are simple to clean up.
